You at Stanford is an independent parody. You upload a selfie, and a fictional brochure committee "improves" you, with the same restraint Stanford showed.
What happened
On 21 September 2026, The Stanford Review reported that Stanford Residential and Dining Enterprises had used AI to alter a promotional photo of real students. According to the report, one student was replaced by a synthetic person and others had their bodies or faces changed. Stanford's own marketing guidelines call for transparency about AI-generated media and for permission when real people are depicted.
What this site is
This site satirizes the gap between an institution's real students and the polished image it chooses to publish. The joke is aimed at the committee, not at you. Every image it makes carries the site's address in the pixels, so it's always traceable back to this parody.
You don't choose what the committee changes. Most results get an aggressive brochure makeover; some go further. That lack of control is the point.
Who made it
This site was built by x.com/dvpme, whose entire relationship with Stanford is one hat from the campus gift shop. He wears it to parties. When people ask what he studied there, he changes the subject to the hat.
He has never been admitted, rejected, or consulted by any Stanford committee, which is probably why he thinks they need help. He is not affiliated with Stanford University in any way, and Stanford did not make, review, or approve this site or any image it produces.
